MADGE GORDON WEAVER HAGA

A graveside service for Madge Gordon Weaver Haga, 103, of Farmville, was held at 3 p.m. Wednesday in Forest Lawn Cemetery, Richmond. She died Sunday, April 3, 2011.

She was a native of Gloucester County, the daughter of the late Ira Brubaker Weaver and Maud Gordon Cameron Weaver, and the widow of the Rev. Ralph Leonard Haga Sr.

Survivors include a son, a daughter, two grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

Mrs. Haga graduated from Botetourt High School in Gloucester. She was a chinchilla breeder for 40 years, and was a member of the Poetry Society of Richmond, joining in 1942; the Old Dominion Chapter of DAR, and a 60-year member of Reveille United Methodist Church.
