The Made in Mathews Open Studio Tour—“20 Years Inside the Studio,” will be held over two weekends again this year, offering art lovers a chance to visit with the artists in their own environments, and perhaps even catch them in the act of making art.

The dates for this 20th anniversary year are Friday through Saturday, Nov. 26-28, and Saturday and Sunday, Dec. 4-5, at various sites around Mathews County. Hours for the self-guided tour will be 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. on Friday and both Saturdays and noon to 5 p.m. each Sunday.

Original paintings in a variety of mediums, art photography, and prints will be available at various studios and galleries, while fiber products, jewelry, and ceramics will be offered at select sites. Furniture, wooden household goods, and natural soaps—all crafted by hand—are on the tour, as well. Visitors can even buy gourmet drink mixes.
