Machicomoco State Park, Hayes, will hold “Wee” Read at the Park on Dec. 2 and Dec. 16 at 11 a.m. at the park’s interpretive area.

This program is designed for boys and girls ages 2 years through 8, getting a chance to enjoy fun stories, playful games/songs, hot cocoa and a craft to take home.

“Parents and caregivers, please plan to stay and keep your ‘wee’ person company as we make fun winter memories together at the park,” a release stated.

Contact the park at 804-642-2419 to reserve a spot as craft supplies and cocoa are limited. Dress comfortably for the cool, fresh, outdoor winter air.
