‘Mabel’ the car

Just before he died in 2000, W.E. “Noody” Belvin of Bena purchased a new car for his wife, Mablind—a 2000 white Mercury Grand Marquis 4-door sedan. She drove it until her passing in 2006. The car was inherited by Bernard and Debbie Robins of Bena. They named the car “Mabel” and drove it for eight years. This month, they decided to donate the vehicle to the Samaritan Group for a deserving client. With the help of Three Rivers Healthy Families, Lauren Spence of Hayes was selected, and “Mabel” is expected to serve Lauren and her three children, Ayden, Alessandra and Azalia, well.
