Luther Randolph Johnson of Mathews, passed Friday, Dec. 18, 2015, at Walter Reed Convalescent Center. 

He is survived by two nephews, Lindsey L. Nicholson and his wife Vanessa Nicholson, and Charles David Carter, and a host of cousins and other relatives.

A funeral service will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 26, 2015, at Ebenezer Baptist Church, Cobbs Creek.

Viewing will be Saturday from 11 a.m. until the hour of service at the church. Burial, with Masonic rites, will be in Ebenezer Church cemetery.
