Luretha “Polly” Foster Dixon, 98, of Hayes, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, Dec. 22, 2022. She was preceded in death by her husband. Thomas Sr.; son, Thomas Jr.; brother, Norris Foster, and granddaughter, Chonda Tucker. She is survived by her daughters, Yvonne Ray (Robby), Melinda Potts, Patricia Boyd, and Delores Dixon; three grandchildren, Eleecia Hood (Stanley), Kierston Rudolics, (Jason), and Vasco D. Boyd III; six great-grandchildren, Erika, Demetrius and Danielle Hood; Christina Henderson and Christopher Tucker; Trevor Rudolics; nieces, Charlsie R. Bryant and Glenton “Sally” Robinson; great-nephews, Keenan Bryant (Malease), Shawn Bryant (Chandra) and Dorian Bryant; great-nieces, Maria Benjamin and Pasquelina Chambliss, and a host of relatives and friends. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Friday, Dec. 30, 2022, from 10-11:30 a.m., with a graveside service to follow at The First United Baptist Church, conducted by Pastor E. Randolph Graham, beginning at 12 p.m.
