The Mathews County Parent Resource Center and the Special Education Advisory Committee (SEAC) invite parents and grandparents of children with disabilities to an informal “Lunch and Learn” session from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Richardson’s Café, 12 Church Street, Mathews.

The topic will be “Parents as School Partners.” Barbara Ettner, coordinator of the Mathews County Parent Resource Center, and SEAC chair Barbara Fleming will provide materials and answer questions about ways that parents and grandparents can help their special needs children achieve academic goals.
