Luigina Maria Webber, age 88, of Gloucester Point, passed away on Friday, October 31, 2025. Luigina was born on March 10, 1937 in Verona, Italy, to the late Ciro Marassi and Angelina Gobbi. Luigina grew up in the northern countryside mountains of Verona. She dedicated 26 years as a bus driver for Newport News School System. Her favorite season was summer, and she loved spending time in her gardens and fishing. She was also an avid bowler who was fiercely competitive, but what she loved the most was cooking and spending time with her family. The family’s favorite tradition was Wednesday pasta night. She was a beloved wife, mother, and “Nona”. In addition to her parents, Luigina was preceded in death by her daughter, Elisabeth Maria Webber. She is survived by her husband of 64 years, James Douglas Webber; her daughter, Diana Maria Webber, and her granddaughters, Michelle Marie Damant and Jessica Maria Lopez. The family will receive friends at Hogg Funeral Home on Saturday, November 22, 2025, from 2 to 3 p.m. The inurnment is private.
