Lucy Hildred Horsley Marrs, 101, of Williamsburg, passed away on May 25, 2013, after a long and fulfilling life.

Lucy was a faithful member of Waller Mill Bible Church for over 30 years, and belonged to the Historic Triangle Senior Citizen’s Group for over 15 years. A very social person, Lucy particularly loved going out to eat and spending time with friends.

She is survived by her stepchildren, Charles E. Marrs and Betty Johnson; her siblings, Violet Schafer, Irene Carr, and Nelson B. Horsley and his wife IsaBell; sisters-in-law, Beatrice Horsley and Dorothy Horsley; many nieces and nephews; and close friend, Bob May. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Marrs, four brothers, and one sister.

A graveside service will be held on Thursday, May 30, at 2 p.m. at Williamsburg Memorial Park, 130 King William Drive, Williamsburg.
