The new LOVEworks mural is now on display at the Gloucester Point Beach Park, created by artist Allison Farley. A senior at Gloucester High School, Farley is a member of the National Art Honor Society. According to Gloucester Parks, Recreation and Tourism, when asked about her inspiration for her submission, Farley stated that her neighbor is a waterman and if anything was going to be painted at that location it should include watermen. “I believe watermen are the heart of Gloucester’s identity and culture, and their incredible work ethic is part of what inspired me to make them the main focus in this artwork,” she said.
