A funeral for Louise F. Jarvis, 86, of Mathews, will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 5, at Zion Baptist Church, Cardinal. She died Nov. 28, 2015.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Thomas Wilbur Jarvis Sr.

Survivors include a son, Thomas W. Jarvis Jr.; daughter, Joyce L. Clayborne, and grandchildren.

Viewing will be held at Forrest Brothers Funeral Home, Hudgins, from 3-6 p.m. Friday. The family will receive friends from 6-7 p.m.

Burial will be in Poplar Wood Cemetery, Cardinal.
