Louis Frederick Landerer III, 34, of Locust Hill, passed away on Saturday, Feb. 23, 2019, in UVA Hospital.

He was born in Portsmouth. He was a loving husband, father, son and brother, and had the biggest heart and would do anything for anybody.

He is survived by his wife, Casey Lynn Landerer; children, Ava Grace Landerer, Nicole Cater, Mathew Cater, Zackary Cater-McCreay, Brian McCreay (Brianna), and Samantha McCreary; mother, Judith J. Landerer; father, Louis F. Landerer Jr. (Leslie); sisters, Andrea Mead (Nathan), Shannon Lapham (Mark), and Crystal Danielson, and a large extended family.

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, March 1, 2019, from 6:30-7:30 p.m., with a Celebration of Life beginning at 7:30.
