Louie E. Hall, 86, of Gloucester, passed away on Thursday, March 22, 2018.

He was born in Altavista, and was the son of the late Esthma Harrison and Maude Seabolt Hall. He was the retired owner of Louie Hall Construction, and proudly served in the U.S. Navy in the Seabees. He was an avid hunter and fisherman, and never met a stranger.

He is survived by his wife of 62 years, Winnifred H. “Winnie” Hall; his daughters, Cheryl Shipley (Robert Earl) and LuAnn Lewis (Mike); his son, Louie E. “Chip” Hall Jr.; his sister, Barbara Firth (Johnny); grandchildren, Joshua, Skyler, Dillon (Trina), Justin, J.P., and Tara Blake (Brandon), and great-grandchildren, August, Kendall, Blake, Bella, Sara, and Caroline.

The family received friends at Andrews Funeral Home & Crematory, Gloucester, on Tuesday, March 27, 2018, from 6:30-8 p.m.
