LORRAINE ANNA PHILL

Lorraine Anna Phill, 82, of Gloucester, died peacefully at her home on July 11, 2012.

Lorraine was a member of St. Therese Catholic Church and an avid New York Yankees fan. She worked for the Gloucester-Mathews Gazette-Journal for 25 years.

She enjoyed traveling, working in her flower gardens and Humphrey Bogart movies and Neil Diamond music.

Lorraine lived every day to the fullest and her positive spirit was an inspiration for all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Robert William Phill Sr.

She is survived by her children, Robert Phill Jr., Roderic Phill (Sally), Linda Phill (Carol Frenck), and Patricia Lang (Kenneth); grandchildren, Justin Phill and his mother Lynn, Joshua Phill, Rebekah Phill, Ian Lang and Katherine Lang.

Graveside funeral services conducted by the Rev. James Cowles were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday, July 16, 2012, at Rosewell Memorial Garden Cemetery. Friends assembled at the cemetery. The family received friends Sunday, July 15, 2012, from 7-8:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
