The Gloucester County Board of Supervisors is looking for citizens to advise the county government in a number of different areas. There are currently vacancies on a number of different board-appointed groups.

Current groups with openings include the following: 

—Clean Community  Committee. Advises on matters related to recycling, litter prevention, environmental education and conducts and assists with clean-up programs. Meetings are conducted on the third Wednesday of each month at 6:30 p.m. 

—Go Green Advisory Committee. Researches, analyzes and proposes methods for the county to promote and implement green and sustainable technology methods and practices. Currently, a realtor or real estate developer is needed. Meetings are conducted the fourth Tuesday of every other month at 7 p.m.

—Mosquito Control District Commission. Advises on the administration of the mosquito control program in the designated service areas in the county. One community repr...
