Lonnie Allen Smith, 75, of Gloucester, passed away at home on March 14, 2026.

Born on March 2, 1951 in Gastonia, North Carolina, he was preceded in death by his parents, Allen and Nellie Ruth Smith, and his sister, Rene Ledbetter.

He had worked more than 50 years as a master plumber, pipefitter, and HVAC technician.

Survivors include his wife, Kimberly Smith; his children, Kevin Smith, Alayne Smith, Krista Smith, and Kasay Smith; seven grandchildren, and two great-grandchildren.

A private celebration of life for family members will be held on April 11.
