Lola Rose Ferguson, age 75, of Hayes, died on Sunday, May 24, 2026, at her home with her family by her side. Lola was born on January 4, 1951 in Maryland to the late Frederick and Ethel Crockett Hunt. She worked as a nurse at Eastern State Hospital. In her free time, she enjoyed watching the news and the 700 Club. She was an amazing cook, making the best soups and lasagna. She also made blankets for every new grandbaby. In addition to her parents, Lola was preceded in death by her daughter, Dawn Stacey, and by her great-grandson, A.J. Her survivors include her husband, Jimmy Carpenter; children, William Stacey (Jenny) and Misty Philippe (Kevin); 15 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren, and her brother, Eddie Hunt. A Celebration of Life service will be held on Saturday, June 27, 2026, beginning at 11 a.m. in the Chapel of Hogg Funeral Home. The inurnment will be private.
