Lois Pease Oliver, 98, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, Dec. 29, 2020, in Mathews. She was preceded in death by her parents, Elvin and Lucy Pease; husband, Ralph W. Oliver; brothers, Raymond, Richard, Charley, and Elvin Jr.; sisters, Mila West, Mildred Miller, Nettie Sale, Virginia Marny, and her twin sister, Lola Marie Pease.

Lois is survived by her daughter, Betty Pratt and Betty’s fiancé Ed Clayton; grandson, Robert Pratt Jr. and his wife Amy; great-grandchildren, Alyssa and Tyler; sister, Frances G. Davis, and a host of nieces and nephews. Lois loved taking care of her family and friends. She also enjoyed cooking, crocheting, and listening to gospel music. Lois was a member of Southside Church of the Nazarene. She lived in Richmond, Beacon, N.Y., and North Easton, Mass., before returning to Chesterfield 28 years ago. Lois will forever be missed and will live on in our hearts and memories. A visitation will be held from 10:30-11:30 a.m. with her funeral service to begin at 11:30 on Monday, Jan. 11, 2021, at Morrissett Funeral & Cremation Service, 6500 Iron Bridge Road, N. Chesterfield, Va. 23234. Interment to follow at Dale Memorial Park.
