Lois Marlene Heaton, 75, of Gloucester, died April 17, 2018 at Riverside Regional Medical Center. 

Marlene was born to be a mother. She was a wonderful mother to her children and all the foster children she cared for over the years. They were a delight and joy to her. She enjoyed working in her garden and loved flowers. Marlene had a heart of gold and was always helping someone in need. She was a member of The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints. 

She is survived by her husband, John Heaton; son, Denver England; daughters, Debbie Shellhase (Dustin), Donna England and Rebecca Heaton; granddaughters, Ashlee and Julianne; grandsons, Raymond and Bobby, and 15 great-grandchildren.

A service of remembrance will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 28, 2018, at The Church of Jesus Christ Latter-day Saints, 6846 Short Lane, Gloucester. Inurnment will be private.
