Lois Irene Bodziak, age 66, of Gloucester Point, passed away on Wednesday, August 27, 2025. Lois was born on February 3, 1959 in Idaho to the late David and Shirley Irene Decourcey Thatcher. She worked as a production planner for Newport News Shipbuilding. She was an avid reader and animal lover. She enjoyed walking in Yorktown with her dog Ruby, and always looked forward to volunteering for the Salvation Army and ringing the bell at Christmas time. Lois is survived by her husband, Martin “Marty” G. Bodziak; their son, Brent Bodziak; siblings, Robin Stevens, Sharon Feagan, Pam Putz, Mike Thatcher, and Davy Thatcher. “My little bride is at peace.”
