Lois Catherine Talley Hopkins, 89, of Gloucester, passed away on Sunday, Sept. 22, 2019.

She was the widow of John Mahlon Hopkins Sr. and was retired as a tool clerk from the Newport News Shipbuilding & Drydock Co. 

She is survived by her sons, John M. Hopkins Jr. (Cathy), Ronald Hopkins, Michael Hopkins (Kelly), and Brian Hopkins (Kim); her sisters, Joyce and Susan; five grandchildren, and one great-grandchild.

Funeral services will be private.
