County residents are invited to the Piankatank Community League meeting next week for a program on “Living Shorelines of Gloucester County.”
Walter Priest will be the guest speaker at the meeting, which begins at 6:30 p.m. on Thursday, June 19 at the league building, 11188 Harcum Road. The presentation starts at 7:15, with member-supplied snacks for the audience.
Priest will introduce the principles behind the use of living shorelines and discuss projects constructed in Gloucester.
