Little Caesars opens Gloucester franchise

Little Caesars, a take-out pizza business, is Gloucester’s newest restaurant.

Located on Route 17 near the Bill Hudgins automobile dealership, the new Little Caesars is owned by Chris Cook. He already owns two other Little Caesars stores in Portsmouth, and one each in Hampton and Newport News, holding all five franchise stores under the trade name Tidewater Pie.

Cook affiliated with Little Caesars about 4½ years ago, when he opened his first store in Portsmouth.

Little Caesars specializes in “hot-and-ready” pizza, Cook said, with a goal of serving most customers in 30 seconds.

The new store is all take-out, with no in-store dining or delivery service.

The store sells an assortment of pizzas—which Cook said can be customized to a customer’s desires with an assortment of meats and vegetables.
