The Gloucester Lions Club will hold a yard sale from 8 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday at Phillips Energy, 2586 George Washington Memorial Highway, Gloucester Point.

All of the proceeds will go toward helping those in our community with limited resources who are in need of vision screenings, eyeglasses, hearing aids, and vision or hearing related procedures, a release stated.

Brooms will also be available for purchase. People are encouraged to drop off their no-longer-needed eyeglasses and hearing aids at the yard sale; the Lions Club will also be accepting donations of items to be sold that day.
