Linda Louise Watson, 62, of Gloucester, passed away peacefully on the morning of July 4, 2018.

She was the wife of Eugene D. Watson Jr. They shared more than 40 years of marriage and companionship together.  

Linda was born in the town of Mount Airy, North Carolina, and she was a Hampton Roads resident for a majority of her life. She graduated from Ferguson High School in Newport News in 1974. She was employed as a Wax Operator at Howmet Corp. (Arconic) for more than 40 years. She retired in January of 2018. 

Linda was a dedicated and hardworking wife and mother. She will be remembered as a woman who cared about everyone she met and only wished for the best for people.

Linda Watson is survived by her husband, Eugene D. Watson Jr., and her son, E. Dale Watson III. She is also survived by her three sisters, Annabelle Bryant, Candy Barrows, and Whitney Leonard. Additionally, she is survived by her brother-in-law, Paul Watson, and many additional family members. 

The memorial service conducted by the Rev. Arthur Wolz Jr. will be held at 11 a.m. on July 14, 2018, at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
