Linda Lee Cabe, 71, of Hayes, died at her home Nov. 13, 2018, surrounded by her loving family. Linda enjoyed working in flowers, her yard and venturing to flea markets looking for treasures. She was passionate about her family, especially her grandchildren. Linda’s grandchildren were her heart and joy. Linda was a wonderful woman that was loved, is missed, and will always be cherished.

She is survived by her children, John Jefferson (Lisa), David Jefferson (Kathy) and Nancy McElliott (Ray); her grandchildren, A.J. Jefferson (Sam), Belinda L. Smith (Calvin), Ashley N. Jefferson and Bentley N. Jefferson; great-grandchildren, Kayden, Jesse, Waylon; brother, Donald McMahan and sister, Margaret Watts; nieces and nephews, and great-granddog, “Huk.”

A graveside funeral service, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Margaret Louden, was held at 11 a.m. Monday, Nov. 19, 2018, at Peninsula Memorial Park Cemetery, Newport News. Friends assembled at the cemetery. The family received friends Sunday, Nov. 18, 2018, from 6 until 7:30 p.m. at Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point.
