Linda Kay Duncan, 56, of Gloucester, died Saturday, Feb. 7, 2015.
Linda was a Certified Nursing Assistant, who loved taking care of others.
She was kind, gentle and compassionate, with a wonderful sense of humor. Linda loved to watch “I Love Lucy,” her favorite television comedy.
She looked forward to all the good times she shared with her granddaughter and going to the beach. We will miss her forever.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Mary S. Duncan, and father, the Rev. Zack H. Duncan III.
She is survived by her daughter, Christina Smith; sons, Jason Duncan and Dean Jones; granddaughter, Emmitt Smith; sister, Lori Ann Javier; brother, Zack H. Duncan IV; and nieces and nephews, Jessica Duncan, Brandy Koester, Layla Javier, Zack H. Duncan V and Joseph Javier.
A celebration of life will be held at 6 p.m. Friday, Feb. 13, 2015, at Union Baptist Church, 9254 Guinea Road, Hayes, Va. 23072. Inurnment will be private.
