Linda Gray West, age 79, of Hayes, died on Wednesday, June 18, 2025. Linda was born on June 27, 1945 to the late Iris Collier and Stanley Gray. She worked as a home health caregiver. She loved being outside and appreciating nature, especially flowers and birds. She also loved going out in the workboat with her husband and kids. Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Hansford Eugene West, and brother, John Boyd Gray. She is survived by her daughter, Dawn Smith (Donald); son, Stephen West; grandchildren, Braydon Diamond and Elizabeth West, and great-grandchildren, Aiden Jones and Michael Winston. She is also survived by her sister, Julie Lewis, and several beloved nieces and nephews. A graveside service, conducted by the Rev. Dr. Michael Condrey, was held on Wednesday, June 25, 2025, at 11 a.m. at Groves Memorial Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
