LINDA BRASHEAR DICKINSON

Linda departed this life on Dec. 29, 2015 at her home in Chickasaw Point, S.C.

Linda lived for more than 30 years at Mulberry Point on Blackwater Creek at North with her husband Terry and their children Christopher and Heather. Linda leaves many friends in Mathews.

She owned a restaurant “Enjoy” in Mathews Court House and often served as a substitute teacher for the Mathews School System. Linda was a true gem, none sweeter or more loving. She was a phenomenal cook, known especially for her snickerdoodle cookies and her garlic rolls—although everything she made was absolutely delicious.

Linda also leaves behind parents, Eli (98) and Naomi (97) Brashear, and sister, Nancy B. Jett and husband, all from Newport News, Va. She had many nieces and nephews whom she adored, and who no doubt felt the same.

Linda and Terry lived six years in Savannah before moving to Chickasaw Point nearer their children.

A celebration of Linda’s life was held at Chickasaw Point Clubhouse on Jan. 2, 2016.

The family wishes to thank friends near and far who attended or held them in thoughts and prayers.
