Lily Valentine Antiques and Upscale Clutter, located at 252 Main Street, Mathews, is owned by Becky Beckstoffer and named after her faithful labradoodle Lily Valentine who comes to work every day and greets all visitors with enthusiasm.

Meet Lily Valentine

Beckstoffer opened several years ago, she said, “with excitement and nervousness. It didn’t take long for me to learn that the residents and visitors of Mathews are extremely welcoming and supportive of my success.” She added an emphatic, “Thank you!”

A native of Covington, Beckstoffer had participated in antique shows and had booths at malls in Richmond. She describes her shops as “focusing on unpainted wood furniture and primitives. We buy estates,” she said.
