Virginia’s Li’l Ole Opry will showcase some of the area’s young talent this Saturday.
The Stars of Tomorrow show will be held at Mathews High School’s Harry M. Ward Auditorium. Doors open at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 7:30.
Special guest performers on this show include Shane Norris, Hunter Owens, Hailey Denkinger, Elijah Clark, Natalie McDevitt, Hayden Owens, and Colten and Austin Sadler. These young people will offer songs of their choosing from varied backgrounds and styles. They will perform selections from John Denver, Billy Joel, Lainey Wilson, Kenny Rogers and Dolly Parton and more.
Norris is a senior at Mathews High School and plays music throughout the area. He is proficient on both guitar and piano and also plays a mean harmonica. Owens also performs on his own regionally and is a sophomore at MHS, playing in the marching band.
