The Court House Players, a Middle Peninsula community theater organization, recently purchased a truss system from Applied Truss and Electronics of Newport News to hang lighting for theatrical shows and other events at the Cobbs Creek Arts Center in Mathews. The $6,750 purchase was made possible by the generous gift of $4,750 from an anonymous member of the organization.
