Library to kick off summer reading program Saturday

Gloucester Library will hold its Summer Reading Kick-Off event Saturday from 3-5 p.m. at the Main Street Center location.

Families are invited to stop by the library to register for the summer reading program and enjoy snacks, games, face painting and a petting zoo. Each registrant will receive a free tote bag, while supplies last.

This event marks the beginning of the library’s summer reading program. People of all ages can stop by either library branch to register. Read or listen to books and earn prizes. This program runs through Aug. 4.
