Library accepting entries for Teen Film Festival

Local teens are eligible to win some cash by entering the ninth annual Teen Film Festival at the Gloucester Library. Registration deadline is Friday, April 22.

Competitors may be 13 to 18 years old. Library technical support specialist John Ayers said the age requirement to enter has been changed; the previous limits were 14-18.

Films will be shown during a free public screening at 6 p.m. on Saturday, May 7, at the main library in Main Street Center.

Individuals submitting films must have a valid Gloucester County Public Library card with no outstanding fines, Ayers said. Students from Gloucester schools are eligible to enter, as well as those from nearby communities and those who are home-schooled.

A maximum of three films may be submitted by an individual, with no minimum length and a maximum length of 10 minutes each. Films must be submitted on a DVD/CD in mp4, avi, mov or wmv formats and turned in at the main library. All films must be clearly labeled with the title, contact na...
