A memorial service for Lianis Zahira Bidot, 61, of Hayes, was held at 2 p.m. Monday, Dec. 17 in Hogg Funeral Home, Gloucester Point. She died Dec. 11, 2018.

Dr. Bidot was born in Puerto Rico, and was a general surgeon who worked the Peninsula area. She was a lieutenant colonel in the United States Air Force.

Survivors include her daughters, Adriana Schwartz and Nerice Schwartz; father, Guillermo A. Bidot; brother, Willie Bidot, and two grandchildren.
