Liam Joseph O’Neill, 20, of Gloucester, passed away on Thursday, Aug. 3, 2017, in Riverside Walter Reed Hospital after a short illness.

He was born in Newport News, and was raised in Gloucester. He enjoyed working on S-10s, dirt biking, four-wheeling and hanging out with his friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, William O’Neill and is survived by his parents, Sean Michael and Connie Lynn O’Neill; his brother, Kieran Cameron Timothy O’Neill, sister, Maire Kate O’Neill, and his grandparents, Kathy O’Neill, Joan O’Neill, and Cleveland and Kathleen Cameron. 

The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Thursday, Aug. 17, 2017, from 6:30-8 p.m. A memorial service will be held on Saturday, Aug. 19, 2017, at 1:30 p.m. at the Beaverdam Shelter, Beaverdam Park, 9735 Farys Mill Road, Gloucester. Following the service there will be a time of food and fellowship.
