Editor, Gazette-Journal: On Sunday, April 26, the Woodville Rosenwald School Foundation held its first annual Jazz Day to celebrate culture, community and history. Over 70 guests, including alumni of Gloucester’s Rosenwald Schools, enjoyed great music by jazz artists Marsha Meekins and Company. Guests learned about the programs now underway at Woodville School and the importance of preserving this historic Gloucester building and its story.
