We would like to express our deep appreciation to the Gloucester Woman’s Club who, in the spirit of community celebration, is sponsoring a fundraiser to benefit the upcoming 37th annual Virginia Watercolor Exhibition, hosted by Gloucester Arts on Main and the Bay School Community Arts Center.
The club members have created a wonderful event for Saturday, Sept. 12. It will feature tours of the c. 1750 Edge Hill House, a watercolor demonstration by Renate Bumgarner, a photo exhibit of Gloucester plantation houses taken in the 1980s by Lyle Thomas, music by “Strings and Things,” appetizers and wine.
Gloucester is fortunate to have such a dynamic, civic-minded organization.
