Who came up with the idea to cut the trees down in the old Walmart parking lot? Some of those trees were starting to bloom and flower out.

Was it because of the birds that take advantage of the branches to build a nest or hide in the foliage and then drop splatter on the nearby vehicles? Was it due to the greed of man that people driving on Route 17 couldn’t see the stores that were available to shop?

Some of the trees that were cut down were Crepe Myrtles which is fine; they will come back with new branches, leaves and flowers. The larger trees that were ready to bloom out before they were cut down will never provide shade from their foliage or flowers from their buds. What a shame!
