Editor, Gazette-Journal: This week I sent a letter to Congressman Rob Wittman to express my concerns about what is going on in Washington, D.C. This is what I sent: Mr. Congressman, As a constituent of yours in Gloucester, and one that always votes, I ask you, “Who do you represent”? Do you represent the people in your District, the people in Gloucester, me? Or do you only represent Donald Trump? Do you only vote for what the president wants, and “commands” you to do? Do you even think of our Constitution, and what it represents? Our freedoms? What you promised when you were sworn in? Promises to uphold our Constitution, and not allegiance and loyalty to an individual. As far as I can tell, you ALWAYS cast your vote for what the President mandates! You don’t have to even read the bill that is up for vote, you just “blindly” cast your vote. There are many unqualified persons in Trump’s cabinet, and you have voted for all of them!
