James Knupp’s question posed in his letter to the editor (“Are we moving toward authoritarianism?” April 11 Readers Write) is absurd.

We are there. The 15-Point Guide to Surviving Authoritarianism refers to “they,” who are leading the road to authoritarianism.

Who are the “they”?

They are the party of post third-term abortion, Orwellian political correctness, anti-Semitism, secularism, open borders, the Green New Deal, reparations, name-calling, advocates of illegal voting, advocates of curbing free speech on campuses, dumbing down of education … etc. They are the socialists, Progressives, Communists. They are the Democrat Party.
