Letter: Where’s that note?

The names Dr. Spencer Silver, inventors Alan Amron and Dr. Arthur Fry may not ring a bell in most American households, but their novel invention has. Each lays claim to having invented, by accident, today’s modern Post-It Notes. In 2003, its company came out with Post-It Super Sticky Notes that adhere so much better than their original, and in 2018, they, the 3M Company, launched an even better adhering note called the Post-It Extreme Notes, designed to be even more durable and water-resistant than the others before them; and specifically designed with construction sites’ usage and manufacturing sites’ usage in mind.

Whichever note you choose or prefer, the once-failed Post-It Note is here to stay. And I often wonder what my life would be like without them … or their persistent and crafty inventors.
