Editor, Gazette-Journal: Does anyone know what the status of the “Cow Creek Mill” picture is? It was removed from the marquee at the entrance to the Founders Mill housing development. Where has it gone? It was a beautiful painting of the old mill on Cow Creek. The stone marquee seems naked without it. The marquee is at the corner of Founders Mill Way and Kitchener Drive. It has been missing for over a year now. Every time I go past it, I wonder where it is. I seem to remember someone said it was removed for painting and repair. Has someone forgotten about it? We need our marquee back to its original state. It has been an eyesore without the painting. Please let us know what is going on with it. Our neighborhood needs it back. Mary SinisiGloucester, Va....
