Letter: What would the Founding Fathers say?

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

The Founding Fathers of our country would be shocked to see the erosion of our fundamental rights by the radical socialists who have succeeded in stealing an election. It was George Washington who said: “Truth will ultimately prevail where there are pains taken to bring back the light.”

Where is the light in the Justice Department or FBI, where they continue to play the cat-and-mouse game? They have failed the citizens in a monumental way. It was John Adams who said: “No people will tamely surrender their liberties, nor any be easily subdued when knowledge is diffused, and virtues are preserved.”

This is where the journalists, social media, networks, and pundits are clueless by choice. People’s speech and opinions have now been subverted and squashed.
