My letter, “What to expect in 2021” on Jan. 7 suggested what would happen since we voted in the last election.

In Deuteronomy 30:19, the Bible warns us that “I have set before you life and death, blessing and cursing; therefore choose life, so that you and your descendants may live.” Many people in the U.S. voted for pro-abortion (death) Joe Biden and Democrats, instead of pro-life President Trump and Republicans.

Based on what happened to the U.S. such as the drought in the west, Hurricane Ida in the east, and many other disasters, it appears we have been cursed.

This November, Virginia has a choice similar to the 2020 election. Pro-life Glenn Youngkin and other Republicans are running against pro-abortion Terry McAuliffe and other Democrats.

Let’s pray we get it right this time so we won’t be cursed any more.
