Letter: What the world needs now is love

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

I would like to take this opportunity to respond to Mr. John Bonner’s letter (“Who would Jesus have supported?” Aug. 17 Readers Write). I would like to congratulate Mr. Bonner on the idea of considering what Jesus would have supported at the tragic events in Charlottesville. You must be careful, Mr. Bonner. I hope you realize that this idea may spread and “We the People” may start considering what Jesus would do with all the problems facing this country. Imagine that!

My main reason for this response was you asked a question that I certainly do not have an answer for. However, I do offer for your consideration some quotes from my favorite source, The Holy Bible, King James Version.
