Letter: What do you believe?

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

Are there times when you ask yourself what do you believe? Are there UFOs, how about the Loch Ness Monster, Bigfoot or even ghosts? Here is a good question: Is the United States the greatest country in the world? Think really hard about this, because as much as we want to believe even as I do that we are, the facts point elsewhere.

While the Constitution was written by a patriot named James Madison and has remained in whole unchanged for over 200 years should be a tribute to the thought that went into this document that today is smudged by the government that this document is supposed to direct. The Declaration of Independence, written by another patriot, declared our freedom from tyranny in no uncertain terms from King George of England.

So let me try and give some figures to believe.
