On behalf of the Gloucester County Friends of the Library and the Gloucester Public Library I would like to thank a new community partner, TJ Maxx, for their generosity and support.

Since the store has opened, the TJX Foundation, Inc., has donated $10,000 to the Friends of the Library as part of their strategic mission to “help families build a valuable future, one where families and children are safe and secure, and have the opportunities they need to thrive.”

The donation will be used for the annual summer reading program. Library staff works hard to develop and implement fun and educational activities and events to inspire awe and wonder in order to help families and children thrive. What a great partnership … welcome to the neighborhood, TJ Maxx!
