The Mathews Education Association has launched “Red4Ed in Mathews” and we hope you’ll support us. 

“Red4Ed” is spreading across the country as educators and their students make their voices heard for strong public schools.

We began with our school system staff, encouraging our colleagues to wear red on Wednesdays while sharing why they support public education. We’ve asked our School Board and Board of Supervisors members to wear red showing their support for public schools, and now we’re inviting the community.

Join us on Wednesday, Feb. 6, as we flood Mathews with the color red. Wear your red around town or snap a picture and post it to a social media platform highlighting why you support public education in Mathews County.
