Letter: We should all be concerned

Editor, Gazette-Journal:

There’s a real dilemma with President Biden. How can we trust him with the “Football”? For those of you that don’t know the term, it’s a briefcase that holds the launch codes for the nuclear missiles that we have all over the world.

This briefcase is attached to a lieutenant colonel or colonel who is just a step away from the president at all times. He maintains the football in the event that the president has to use it. This football is manned 24 hours a day and is as close as possible to the president at all times.

When you watch President Biden in front of the microphone on television, you never know what he’s going to say. He seems to be incoherent half the time, and he rambles on. He even asks himself questions, like “What am I doing here?” or “Where am I?” He cannot even remember the names of people in his own cabinet. Or he doesn’t know the name of the person at all—he works in that funny looking building, which turns out to be the Pentagon. He...
